Detecting Innovations EQUINOX TELESCOPIC CARBON STEM – RED/BLACK
Let’s face it, the Minelab Equinox is nose-heavy. From a mechanical standpoint, this makes your Equinox detector feel heavier than it actually is and places strain on your shoulder and lower back to keep the detector balanced while swinging. If the detector were balanced it would feel light as a feather.
One fix for this issue is to use an ultra-light carbon fiber rod. Allowing you to swing longer without punishing your body.
What makes this carbon fiber rod different from all the others? Expert Scott Ellis put a ton of thought and time into designing it--and we approve!
First of all, this carbon fiber rod is telescopic from 21” inches to 52” inches, so it will fit in your suitcase!
Available in two colors, this carbon fiber rod has what none of the competition thought to include: an anti-rotation feature! We personally tested other carbon fiber rods, and all of them twisted and rotated awkwardly and didn’t have decent clamping, resulting in sliding.
That’s why this rod won us over!
These carbon fiber rods have advanced powerful lever locks that will keep things from sliding. Thicker CTX-style round rubber washers are provided to help reduce any over-tightening issues with the coil bolt.
Available in red/black check pattern, or matt black check pattern. The colored stem cannot be used for the bottommost 1/3rd of the stem because the metal foil in the color make-up will cause interference with the detector.
