The Brass Coin Probe is an age-old tool for retrieving your metal detecting finds. The user pushes the metal probe into the ground to pinpoint the metal target and retrieves it with a digging tool.
Brass is non-marring, and should not damage your metal target you are retrieving. However, you should still use caution when probing the ground, as some targets are more fragile than others, and brute force can damage anything.
